=================================================================================

i was excited to find this cache, hoped some of the items listed in original drop would still be there, specially the BOO&SHU COIN.

we drove uo to COCTAW CREEK PARK
Photo

then had to get our bearings straight...had we parked 2 parking spaces in the other direction i never would have had the opportunity to take the beautiful walk and snap some pics of the scenery, and i wouldnt have had the exercize i had either...but hindsight, is 20/20...lol

"Cra" & "Dan" starting the quest.

as you get on the path you come to a small pond...when we approached it there were 2 ducks, male and female right on the bank, i wasnt quick enough to catch them anyclosert than swimming away...
Photo

shot of the pond...very pretty even on this overcast day, the picture does NOT do it any justuce!
Photo

some pretty flowers along the bank of the pond...growing wild
Photo

we had fun watching this windmill spin in the wind...was an attractive addition to the scenery

this cache was attached by a string. this ones hanging in the tree. i thought it was an excellent way to hide a CACHE, and i may utilize the idea for our future CACHE.

we took inventory: sadly almost all the ORIGINAL cache was missing, INCLUDING THE LOG BOOK & PEN!!!
contnets included:
* "YELLOW" learning color card
* OKLAHOMA POST CAR (original to the cache)
* 1 "PIRATE COIN GAME SOON" (S.007) piece coin with
* INDEX CARD (reading:)
I AM LOOTING 100 CACHES. AFTER THE CACHES ARE ALL COLLECTED, I WILL HIDE ALL THE LOOT IN ONE BIG CACHE. A WINNER TAKE-ALL TREASURE HUNT. THIS COIN IS YOUR ENTERANCE TO THE GAME.
GAME POSTED SOON!

we took the coin. wouldnt it be neat to find that cache? 100 all together collected to make one big one....thats a novel idea. we have no clue if the games already been done or not..theres no dtae on the card (or id for a name) to say when the card was placed.

as we left there was more things to take pixtures of:

Photo
a field of wild daisies

a patch of small pretty purple flowers
